* sometimes I'll add low E note at end of this but I don't hear Edge do this.
Sounds better IMHO.

Various palm mute chug-a-lugs. I'll sometimes throw in weird harmonic at
3rd fret for extra color."colour" for you Euro fans.

Just palm mute, classic edge.

Listen for rythym.
Sounds like Edge plays A chord on 12th fret sometimes listen to record.
You can play the A on the 5th fret but I think Edge plays it high,
so take your pick at different times in the song. If you want to get picky
the G chord sounds high too!

Not part of song just an example!

Then, the part with classic edge delay, when bono sings
"They know that they can't dance, at least they know..."

Edge typically plays these types of parts high on the neck.
Playing in this position allows you to "grab & shake" the strings
Adding that little bit of vibrato that I hear in this part.
My guess is he plays in this position also based on the
all of this can be yours" part which comes after the solo.

Pre Solo:
Next comes a little ode to The Who's "Won't Get Fooled Again,
which sounds like your basic open position chords

Here's classic Edge changing around the timing and structure for a part,
giving it a little variety, almost like how he slightly alters the main
line in "If God Will Send His Angels" each time.

"I can feel your love teaching me how."

Hard to hear, and I play it differently every time sometimes mimicking
the notes Bono is singing or playing something not too far off from Beautiful Day ending
